Thanks to the UGC for recommending tough selection norms of VC's

The UGC's decision to put VC's candidates under the scanner to test their high level of competence and national eminence , integrity and moral values is commendable. Of late  we have been witnessing currupt individuals intruding into the academic
inner circles and spoiling the country's image. They should be weeded out and educators of unquestionable value and respect
should deserve such high posts. Let us totally reject those who manipulate their way through using political influence.

   You are very true...Vice Chancellors should exhibit high intellectual qualities, prove their worth by internationally acknowledged publications, and be detached from political leanings. But everytrhing is topsy turvy in our system.
