Acording to the Hindu dated 19 th October, the first Secretary of the British council Mr. Kevin McLaven in  New Delhi, had categorically decared that

*there is no waiving of IELTS scores for the admission into U.K. Universities and  immigration matters. It is possible that students  coming from English medium schools with a strong English language background  might get exemption from some University authorities but it is definitely not for everyone.

* Students are advised to use discretion while trusting the consultants some of whom might mislead the candidates for profit motives.

* It is well understood and the message is clear that the rush to enter the U.K. has become highly competetive from the fact that  1.4 million from across the world and 2.4 lakhs of Indian candidates sat for the test last year.

Much depends on the individual's determination to  prudently decide to get the top scores.Chennaipage  can help you get 7+ bands.
