Sir,

I am planning to do MBA with marketing as my preference. I have  noticed you have written on Management Gurus like Prahalad
a  few times and even offered valuable advice. Now could you tell me what would be the most suitable area for India?

Thank you for your compliments. I am not a management  person  though I love reading about it. In my understanding if you would take up rural marketing it may be quite appropriate to the Indian scene. The rural market in the Indian economy accounts for  more than 50% of the country's income. Hence it appears to me a  challenging career for the MBAs. You might have  noticed the substantial growth of purchasing  power of the villagers in India caused by the Green revolution. The times are ripe for marketing  various products such as telephones, insurance and households. Remember this is the vision of Prahalad too.
