Please explain "cant phrase" - TANCET question

 Thank you for helping us with  some TANCET tips. Now tell me  what does it mean by "cant phrase?"  The sentence in Paasage II
of Reading Comprehension  is as follows " It utterly rejects not only all unmanning group, but all new cant phrase and loose umconnected slipshod allusion."

A very interesting sentence probably referring to the stylistic elements of language. When you are “unmanned” you lose your composure and you feel insecure. “Pomp” is the vain display. It means to turn down any language that smacks of unnecessary adornment, overused phrases and inaccurate references.
