Give us some tips to improve my vocabulary

 Sir,
   
  what is the best way to improve my vocabulary? There are thousands of words I am not able to understand. Give me some easy method of learning vocabulary.

   Like ideas words come from different sources and to learn English vocabulary it is  better to learn the root words , the Latin and Greek prefixes. A good strategy I have adopted is to look up Google images so that  there is a visual prompt to understanding. Then I would go to thefreedictionary.com  and check for the audio pronunciation and the usage. Without knowing the usage you can not
hope to increase your  word power. Finally it means some systematic effort and daily discipline.
