 Recently we have been witnessing unmentionable acts of violence by the student community in different parts of the country. Caste politics, undue demands and
gangsterism have become so common that our educational system is riddled by false claims. Our leaders are conferring Ph.D's  to fawning and unqualified individuals. Anyone can do a Ph.D these days and top university positions can be bought for a price. Don't you think the much raised "student voice" is complete travesty of
student power?

Student power is expressed as something criminal as we read today's Times of India that an MBBS student by name Dinesh 21 years old from a place called Theerthingagudi has been part of a car-lifting gang in Karaikal.
