 Could you explain what is the meaning of the term"crowd sourcing"? I camne across this term in business articles.

 Crowd sourcing is an online activity to seek collective co-operation either  for  a specific project or to gather information.  Though it could make some business sense, it is also controversial if it goes out of hand. There are ethical issues connected with it.
