  Danush's Kolaveri seems to have charmed  young people who are going crazy...How come..such crappy song has become so popular.?

1.  It is in tune with the current trends by giving expression to the most common  feeling of frustration among jilted lovers. 2. The language used is what is  widely spoken  by those who are struggling with English.3. The music is simplistic posing no compexities. 4. Danush's voice can be easily imitated by almost anyone. Perhaps you read in the papers that viral marketing has been the strategy behind the success of the song. It has attracted IIM students to  research into its marketing success. In my opinion (which need not matter to anyone) the song was able to discover the obvious and appeal to the popular taste.
