Sir
School designing is controlled by the curriculum boards and they are generally too prescriptive. The state Governent Education Ministries of Education have certain crietria and above that the CBSE Board has its non-negotiable designing formulas. An School promoter has to go through a number of procedural nightmares that innovation is totally ignored. We have a stereotype design culture when it comes to building schools. Not many architects are dedicated to school designing.

School designing is always a shared vision for the safety of kids belonging to a heterogenous society. Governments must consider the social dynamics for implementing designing regulations. There is a lot of talk about innovations among school archictects who get high on
the bizarre while trying to be unique. Architects have an urge for the extravaganza when it comes to desiging and I would suspect it is the legacy of a capitalistic perception.
