I came to Australia as a student and now settled here in Melbourne. I have had no problem and ran into none so far . I have a lot of Australian friends who like me and vice versa. The trouble comes only when it is invited by one's lack of cultural adjustment. When you are in Rome be a Roman and when you are in Australia be an Australian. Being an Australian does not mean you have to give up all your values and beliefs. But let them not cause friction
